My high school job was working the backroom and stockroom management of Target back in March of 2003. I continued working here until January 2005. My job was to ensure the shelves were fully stock, keeping inventory and helping guests find and locate products on the store floor.

Tasks

• Pulled needed inventory from the backroom and move them to floor shelves.

• Help keep accurate inventory of items that need to be reordered.

• Direct store guest to items that they are looking for.

• Ensure items not meant to be in one area, get redistributed to their correct area.

• Keep an eye out and report any suspicious activity in the store.

• Collaborate with planogram teams with ideal product placement when needed.

• Help keep the store clean and prevent guest from waling into potentially dangerous areas, such as spills and broken merchandise.
