Once I moved to the marketing department, I helped manage, grow, and create some of the biggest and dedicated communities in the video game industry. I worked very close with other departments in creating best in class campaigns that have gone on to win awards and nominations. I also help create plenty of art assets, wrote blog posts, and patch notes. I even created and checked in art for Apex Legends to be shipped in game.

QA Engineer: May 2016 - Aug 2017

When I first started at Respawn, I entered as a Quality Assurance Engineer on Titanfall 2. After it shipped, I further supported the content updates in the QA department, but had also started to transitioning and supporting the marketing team with the social media and the studios social channels. In August 2017, I was fully moved into the marketing department.

Tasks

Assisting Community Manager
Rolling out in-game messaging. This involves using in-game tools and photoshop to create an art asset to showcase as well as working with localization teams with localizing messages.
Gather analytics on title trends.
Gathering information and writing out Patch Notes for Apex Legends.
Managing YouTube account with uploads, scheduling, and YouTube Premier.
Managing Steam account with latest news and info for Apex Legends.
Creating art assets for miscellaneous social platforms.
Capturing and creating bink videos for In-game. This includes the videos for the battlepass preview, Skydive emotes, and playlist buttons.
Integrating work into the game.
Originally creating the visual language for the Apex Store and store assets.
Training and Onboarding Other studios to help assist in the development of Apex Legends.
Being the go to Studio Photographer and videographer for events
